Mesquite Creek Wind (MCW) is a 211 MW wind power project located in Dawson and Borden Counties, about eight miles from Lamesa, Texas. Through a joint venture with Duke Energy Renewables, in 2015, Perennial acquired a 50% stake in MCW. The project utilizes 118 GE 1.79-100 MW turbines and sells its generated electricity under a long term contract. MCW is one of the larger wind facilities in the ERCOT west region, tying into the West Hub. Perennial has a significant role in its project management.
